Plot

The film begins with a flashback of the events of Krrish, where Rohit Mehra (Roshan), a brilliant scientist, uses his father's alien device to revive his dead son Krishna (Roshan), who inherits superhuman abilities from the alien. Krishna grows up to become Krrish, a masked superhero who saves people from various dangers. He also falls in love with Priya (Chopra), a journalist.

In the present day, Rohit is working on a project to harness solar energy and use it for various purposes. He is contacted by Kaal (Oberoi), a wheelchair-bound evil genius who has created a team of mutants called Maanvars, who have animal-like powers. Kaal wants Rohit's help in curing his paralysis and finding his biological father. Rohit refuses to help him and warns him to stop his evil deeds.

Kaal sends his female mutant Kaya (Ranaut) to spy on Rohit and Priya. Kaya disguises herself as Priya and seduces Krishna, who is unaware of her true identity.
